Our Services

  • Fuel Injection Pump Rebuilds

Your fuel system is the heart of your diesel engine. MDFI rebuilds and calibrates pumps to factory specifications.

We provide complete teardown, inspection, repair, and calibration of diesel fuel injection pumps for all major systems, including Bosch, Stanadyne, Delphi, Denso, Caterpillar, Cummins and many others. Each pump is rebuilt using genuine OEM components and tested on factory-calibrated benches to ensure performance meets or exceeds original specifications.

High quality aftermarket parts are available when needed.

    Our rebuild process includes:

    Full disassembly and component inspection

Replacement of worn or damaged parts with OEM components

OEM specific calibration and flow testing

Final verification on certified test equipment

    UV leak-tested

MDFI technicians are factory-trained and follow strict OEM standards — no shortcuts, no guesswork.

When a pump leaves our bench, it’s been rebuilt, tested, and verified to perform exactly as it was designed.

Reliable fuel injection starts with a precise rebuild — and that’s what we deliver.

We service common rail, electronic and mechanical diesel injectors for Bosch, Stanadyne, Denso, Delphi, and other major manufacturers.

    Our process includes:

    Ultrasonic cleaning and detailed inspection

    Electrical resistance and leak-down testing

Uncover
our story

Maryland Diesel & Fuel Injection LLC (MDFI) was built on experience, integrity, and a deep respect for the legacy that shaped today’s diesel industry.

Our team’s roots trace back to the former JG Parks & Sons fuel injection shop — a place where precision, craftsmanship, and accountability defined the standard. It’s where Darryl Price spent nearly two decades mastering his craft and building relationships with customers who still value that same level of quality today.

When that chapter of the industry closed, Darryl and Lindsey Price decided it was time to take everything learned over those years and build something new. MDFI was founded to carry forward that same dedication to accuracy, professionalism, and service.

Meet the team

At Maryland Diesel & Fuel Injection, we’re proud to have a crew that truly knows their craft. Between us, there’s decades of hands-on experience in diesel fuel systems, engine repair, and testing. We’ve all worked together in one way or another over the years — now we’re building something together at MDFI.

Darryl Price – Co-Owner / Lead Fuel Injection Technician

Darryl has been working in fuel injection for 20 years and is trained and certified by Bosch, Delphi, and Denso in both common rail and mechanical systems. He’s spent his career rebuilding, testing, and troubleshooting every kind of diesel system out there — and now he leads the technical side of MDFI.

Erik “Shoe” Shoemaker – Shop Manager

Shoe has been building diesel pumps for 26 years and knows these systems inside and out. He started his career at JG Parks & Sons, where he worked alongside Darryl, and he’s Bosch and Delphi trained and certified. Around the shop, Shoe makes sure every rebuild leaves our doors perfect.

Mark Henry – Test Bench Technician

Mark runs all our test equipment and calibration benches — and he’s been doing it for more than 30 years. He worked at JG Parks too, and his accuracy on the test stands is second to none. If it passes Mark’s tests, you can trust it’s right.

Fred Schnoor – Diesel Technician

Fred first got his start in fuel injection about 30 years ago before moving into full diesel engine repair work. About five years ago, he came back to his roots in fuel injection — and we’re glad he did. With decades of hands-on experience in both engines and fuel systems, Fred brings a well-rounded skill set and a steady, reliable approach to every job.

Lindsey Price – Co-Owner / Operations Manager

Lindsey keeps everything running behind the scenes — from scheduling and customer service to the business side of things. She’s been in the automotive world for over 15 years and has more than 20 years of business management experience. If you’ve called the shop or stopped by, chances are you’ve talked to her.
